This list focuses on East Timor and Indonesia Action Network (ETAN) supported electronic resources. ETAN also maintains a postal mailing list (Even if you only wish to receive electronic material, we would appreciate having your postal mailing address and phone). It also helps to know where you are, because some of our announcements are for local events.

EAST-TIMOR news

east-timor distributes current news and analysis on Timor-Leste from a wide range of official and unofficial sources, including East Timorese civil society, as well as ETAN and other international support, human rights, political and humanitarian groups. Reports and translations from wire services and the East Timorese, Indonesian, Portuguese, Australian, British, and U.S. media  regularly appear there, along with official documents and statements from the U.N., national governments, and other sources. (The east-timor list began as a listserv called reg.easttimor .)
